According to the sun newspaper (however reliable that is) we have signed Jake Robinson (Striker)

It is not on either www.shotsweb.co.uk or www.theshots.co.uk so has anyone heard anything about this?

Nope, but if it's true and it's the same Jake Robinson we had on a loan spell before then I am more than happy with this.

Jake Robinson is quite a small player, so could work quite well with Marvin Morgan and John Grant in theory.
We had him originally on loan in the second half of the 2004/05 season from Brighton, and he had potential then, and I think scored in that 4-0 win vs Woking! (The Sunday Sky Game that year).
I dont know whats happened to him since but maybe Dean Wilkins & Micky Adams just didn't fancy him; who knows.
If he can get us to the play-offs then it'll be another good bit of business from Gary Waddock.

good signing for us and can hopefully bang some goals in aswell as morgan, granty, hylton etc :)

we are always apparently getting jake robinson

would be nice if we did, but until confirmed by the club, i suppose its speculation.

i hope so but at the end of the day if we dont sign him then we need to stop cutting our current strikers and get behind them!
