Farnborough Fc

Me and my dad went to watch Farnborough fc vs corby on sat and to be honest there ground puts ours to shame because they have had a refurbishment and it looks football league standard and modern unlike ours and even has an electronic score board. They had 2220 there witch was better than Shrewsbury at home.
i just think that if Farnboroug can do this why cant Aldershot.
what do people think
There new stand
Aldershot til i die.

Yeah fair play.............but if we got a new stand built they would build it as an all seater and tbh Aldershot wouldn't be Aldershot without the Terrace style ground......thats what helps make the RBA.
Regarding the score board we'd need a big company to sponsor it and pay for it etc etc as I doubt our chairman hasn't got enough to fund it.

the main reason they get that good attendance is probably because their prices are so low.
adults £5 and kids for a quid iv heard

Noticed Woeking were away as well as us, may have attracted a few 'floating fans'

I don't care, once Cardiff move stadium and Peterborough make developments that I think they have planned, we will have the best terrace in England.

Also, we fill about 40% of our ground, it will be a LOONG time before we have to move.

Fair play to Farnborough, they're only heading one way.

the reason why farnborough get so many fans is because they give over 1000 free tickets to local school kids in the community, as i work for scl in the schools after school i witness this, kids at st patricks in f'boro all come up to me with these tickets allowing them free entrance.

if a kid goes, its very rare a parent would let a young child go on their own so they go to.

fair play to them, im quite close to farnborough as the gaffa is a personal friend so i wish them the best of luck and the head of their football in the community is an ex shots player i believe and the chairman is a top notch bloke.

They "folded" two years ago, and are in touching distance of getting back where they were in minimum time. Fair play to them.
