What a fantastic 3 points it was today! On a pitch that wasn't even suitable for a cattle field our players played a blinder to secure maximum points against an inform side. We've never played well up north and at last we have been able to enjoy a long trip home!
Tremendous turnout by our fans today backing the boys for the full 90 minutes. It certainly wasn't the easiest day with my drum as Elvis (who was blind drunk, bless him) seem to play 'the great escape' over and over again. Hope he's got plenty of anadin extra when he wakes up tomorrow! Well done to all who sung their heart out for the boys, now lets make a bigger impact as the 12th man on tuesday!
Not impressed with the bloke who threw a bottle onto the pitch towards the referee. What good can come from that? Yes it was the worst desicion of all time, but it was early in the game with the second half still to play. It's people like you who give the fans of Aldershot a bad name.
Now onto to Stanley and a win there should see us into the play-offs. With a full bus of the RBA, 'm sure our support will lift the players to produce the goods on the night!
See you all tuesday for a cracking day out!
