Sporting Sideburns - 5 A Side

A few of us have started a 5 a side team to which I will post our weekly match reports. We play at Farnham Sports Centre on Wednesday nights. So far we have won 2 and lost 2.

Our Team is:

Simon (Goal)
Shearer
Wayne
Garzy
Frank
Bazza
Bighead
Me (AD)
Jack (Occassional)

Results so far:

Sporting Sideburns 5 Touch of Class 4
Sporting Sideburns 4 Crookham Five 7
Sporting Sideburns 4 The Hunters 10
Sporting Sideburns 6 Passed It Thistle 4
Sporting Sideburns 7 Touch of class 4

Goal Scorers:

I cant remember the goal scorers please let me know how many you each have so far so i can update this.  All I know Wayne is top scorer at the moment.

After Wednesday nights results the Division 2 table has now been thrown completely open with the top two teams,Passed It Thistle andCrookham Five both suffering defeats. Thistles defeat was their first of this campaign. With The Gaffer being otherwise tied up, on the night, they were taken to the cleaners by a spiritedSporting Sideburns, who put in an excellent second half performance to take all three points having been 3-2 down at the interval. Wayne (3), Shearer and Big Head their scorers, while Steve, Dave, Alex and Anton netting the goals for the luckless Thistle boys.

Another win for us this week with Wayne (2) scoring a beauty off the wall.  Garzy (3) also scored a cracker in the top left! Shearer and Big head were also on the score sheet.  Frank was solid after realising the game had actually started a minute in.

Sporting Sideburns 7 Touch of Class 4

This takes us to second in the league, updated table and full match report to follow later in the week.
