I've seen the pics but those links aren't working. Looking good! Waiting to see a couple of the bigger games at your place when it's worth while to do a decent display!
As for things on the pitch, well we have along way to go before something happens. If i were you, have a banner ready made with 'easy,easy,easy,easy....' and display it after 10mins cos you'll probably be 3-0 up by that time
As said before, not many of us can make the long trip to yours on the tuesday night, so expect little from the RBA. Having a pint with you lot will be as far is goes IMO!
I've clearly been starved of football for two long and am now in danger of an overdose. Having watched the Sesiders opening three games, I've also taken in three Premiership matches, two Coca Cola Games, the Charity Shield and on Tuesday night I headed in to the murky world of Conference football!
It was a bit of a barmy night, the game was at Altrincham's ground which is the nearest to my house, I had a free ticket and there were a few former Seasiders in action - despite all these reasons for attending the game, I'm sure some of you have already branded me a sad git! I always find it interesting attending games where I have no loyalty one way or the other as it gives you a chance to see how other suppporters react, you get a better perspective of the ref and if a goal goes in at either end you can just shrug your shoulders and watch the despair and ecstacy of the two sets of fans!
The Accrington fans are complete loonies! They filled the away terrace with loads of huge flags (including one which said 'We've got Ian Craney Ha Ha' - a former Altrincham player) and that prompted the song from Alty fans 'You've got more flags than fans!. The game was actually held up after the Stanley fans through masses of streamers on to the pitch and during a minute's silence for a deceased Altrincham fan you had the farcical scene of the little 8 year old ball boys attempting to take the streamers off the playing surface. As there was so much of the stuff, the ball boys disappeared under the volume of it and you ended up with walking bails of streamers! I've never witnessed a minute's silence when there's been so much stifled laughter!
