Ok before any1 gets on my back for this poll, i was reading the shotsweb messageboard and there is a mixed feeling amoungst them about Terry Brown and if he should stay or not so what does everyone think? Stay or Go?
just because we arent doing aswell as other seasons. We were bound to stop winning at one time or another. Its now. Whats another manager going to with the players he's got? NOT MUCH. Terry WILL sort it.
There is no point in chanting "Loyal Supporters" if we are flakey about it.The squad need to know that we are behind them all season, no more so than after a couple of heavy defeats. They can gain a respectable mid table place with the confidence that the support is still there. Terry needs to get a couple of new faces in to support Tim up front and take pressure off the defence.Lets make the Exeter match very loud and make a difference.
I think Terry has to take a slice of the blame for the situation we find ourselves in this season, however, at the moment, he should definately stay on...
We have won 4 out of our last 6 league matches...that isn't form which leads to sacking the manager.
I'm still confident that TB will bring in the 4/5 new signings needed to push on.
By the time we find a new manager the transfer window will probably be closed again, leaving whoever the new manager is with no chance to bring in his own players...meaning we'll struggle still!
Yer, definately STAY! Like you've all said we've had so much success under him it would be unfair to sack him at the first sign of trouble. Give the bloke a chance and see If he can get us out of this mess!
However you have to agree that TB has made some very strange decision's this season...Can he handle the pressure of the people getting on his back, beacuse he is getting it all soooo wrong this season. :S
WHY ARE WE EVEN GIVING SHOTS WEB THE TIME OF DAY AND EVEN THINKING TERRY IS ON SHALLOW GROUND. SHOTS WEB IS ONLY FULL OF OLD CODGERS MOANING FROM THE NORTH BANK WAVING THEIR PENSION BOOKS.
Fatboy, you are out of order. Just because some supporters are of an age that entitles them to a pension, does not mean that they are any less passionate about ATFC. Just because some prefer the North Stand to the East Bank does not categorise them as moaners either. Have some respect, the RBA is doing a wicked job and you should accept that not everyone can beat a drum and sing for the whole ninety minutes.
Oh and in a spare couple of minutes while i wasn't arqueing with my old man he decided that Brown is the man for the job and questioned me for even asking this!
TO BRAMLEY SHOT,,,,,,,, SO IF THE OLDIES ARE AS PASSIONATE AS US WHY OH WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE OLD ONES WHO MOAN ABOUT THE NOISE WE MAKE WITH OUR SINGING AND OUR DRUMING, AND OUR FLAGWAVING.......????????
