 The Official RBA Summer Tournement 2006


May 27th - Bourley Road... 9.30am


This is going to be a 6 a-side event consisting of 8 teams and will determine the most fearsome players in the RBA!


(This tournement will sort out the Men from the Boys)


It will be constructed in a league format..League 1 - being teams 1-4 and obviously League 2 - the remaining teams 5-8.


The top 2 teams from each group/league will proceed into a semi-final knock-out stage. League 1 Winners will play League 2 Runners Up and likewise..League 2 Winners playing League 1 Runners Up!


The games will be 30mins long no half time.. just a straight 30minutes...roll on roll off substitutes and NO OFFSIDE!


This tournement should take around 3hrs15mins so..it's not too long. This is as 2 games are being played all the time (apart from the final..lol) Picth 9867 and Pitch 9868.


So..when the Morning Tournement has finished I have thought of Mixing some of the teams together and play '3' 11 a-side matches! Again like..straight into a semi-final stages and then the Grand Final..The 2 Semi's being 1hr long matches and the Final..The Norm 90mins


This should see us through until the end of the day where maybe we can have a penalty shoot-out competition and the presentation for the Winning Teams etc...


Alot of Football I know but the season is almost finished and I'm hating the Idea of a summer without playing..So after a fantastic day of Football..I'm going to book the Phoenix Bar for the Saturday Night where a disco and lots of Beer will be on offer


Please be quick in deciding your teams and let me know A.S.A.P or simply post them so that I know and can jot it down! 7 players each team £5 per person. There are already several teams so hurry..

Im well up for doing it because will force my manager to give me the day off lol but twisted my knee in a match last night so might not be 100% fit but will have to see how well I recover. BLOODY HURTS!

I sadi nothing of the sort! Just because someone is starting as a substitute, does not mean that they will be sub all day. 10 MINUTE SUBSTITUTIONS WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR OUR TEAM, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES ARE!

We are not "telling him everyone is better than him" noone has said such a thing.If anything were trying to get him to come along,if you would of read closely.?
