You know what I've just come on to this Im only saying what I've been told by Northbank_4eva_jokin and btw JnR sHoT I have a life outside of this too and the only reason im not in the tournament is  because im on holiday in spain enjoying my life and im gettin slagged off now over me reading something wrong and you an FATBOY making a big deal over it.

ben mate,  lol 10 pounds??!?!?!?! aint that a bit much for a kick about? and there would be no point in us paying for the after do if we will not be attending. one more thing? what will the extra fiver we are paying goin to, if the cause is worthy i mite consider payin the rest.

i dont know if ANY of you have read what the topic is because it seems like theres a bunch of kids argueing about nothing to do with the rba tournement.


this tournement was set up to have a good day out and to enjoy yourselfs. everyone is taking it a bit too seriously and are missing the point of it. if you want to bitch find somewhere else to do it. im not saying not to be non-competitive because its footy and everyone wants to win, but remember why people have gone through the effort to sort the day out!!!

1. £10 for a great day out isn't a lot.


2. its not just a kick about using jumpers for goal posts, its an organised tournement.


3. the extra money will be going towards my beer money, many thanks to you!

Cneate if you don't want to part with £10 then don't! I'm not bothered! It's not a lot of money and it's all going towards the running of the days events. Pitch Hire...Trophies/ Medals and the Disco

£10 is not a lot of money for the day, and it also include the food that is being laid on at the disco as well.

£10 to me seems like Dave as got Monkton Lane, Disco Hall and medals on the cheap for a good day out.

thanx Steve! I appreciate that alot! a lot of people don't realise the trouble some of us go through to arrange these sort of games/tournaments


I'm only charging £10 because its enough to cost for the tournament and the disco/ trophies etc... So IM hardly ripping people off - if they dont like it then they know what to do!

nah im not sayin 10 pounds is alot for me but wen you think it will cost at least 60 quid to put 1 team into a torno when you can go into and random torno for like 30 pounds it does seem alot. but as i like playin footy so much i will be there and i will pay the 10 pounds and i will recieve my winners medel (i hope lol )

I agree mate..£10 is abit harsh! However the pitch and the hall aren't very cheap unfortanately...hence the original £5 being changed to the £10. But hopefully the weather will brighten up for us and a good day will be had by all!


Oh..and i'll be more then happy to hand the 'wooden spoon' to your team when you lose all your matches

ok people heres the deal .. unless fatboys team gets 3 more players then the tournament looks doubtful! so if you are not in a team and want to play then contact either fatboy or dave shearer or post on here, daves worked increadably hard to make this tournament and all hes got from people is agro! so if you want this tournament to go ahead then some-one needs to find some players! lets help Dave out here and find him some players, he shouldnt have to do it all himself.

Just and idea, why doesn't everyone that isn't in a team and wishes to play on Saturday turn up with their boots and shin pads as im sure if we get enough people turning up we can get another team together as there are alot of people saying they want to play and not in a team.

So if your not in a team get your boots and bring them down to Monkton Lane on Saturday for the tournament!
