A lot of people post a lot of bollox on here that has basically got nothing to do with nothing and that really nobody could care less about, however it continues to happen so perhaps the solution could be to add another section entitled.....
Wait for it.....
The Utter Bollox Section!
This way anyone who cares to read the utter bollox (which i must admit i sometimes actually find amusing) can do, and for those who don't, they can avoid it like the plague rather than starting another bollox thread about who should be banned etc.
P.s. this is a serious thread and im not taking the yellow coloured sugar puff smelling after a heavy night on the beer liquid out of anything =)

with a rubbish section it's a win win situation, if someone has the urge to announce that they had fish for dinner they can do so in the junkmail section, if people don't wish to read about it they won't enter the junk section! the reason it bugs people so much is because they see a new topic in general and think it might be something interesting and it isn't, where as if it's in the junk section and people don't like what they're reading then more fool them for looking =).
Everyone has there own opinions on what is and isn't rubbish, this way everyone has the option of saying what they like without getting shot down for posting another crap topic, i can't honestly see how anyone could be against the idea.

so.......... what if you dont think ur post is rubbish but others do they still have to read it? maybe there should be a poll on every post to discover if it is rubbish but by then uv read it so defeats the object....
I'd like to say it comes down to a little common sense but i do feel that a few people lack this, in short, this is a football forum, you have the rba section for anything mainly concerning the rba, photos speaks for itself, as does the away section, supporters team should need no explaining.
Then you move onto the general sections, General (atfc) designed specifically for any general topics relating in any way shape or form to the club itself, or anything to do with football really. The other General one is simply so people have an escape goat away from footballing points of view incase they have anything that is considerably interesting! i agree with what you say and already posted in a previous comment on this thread that everyone has there own opinion on what is and isn't rubbish but i think it's safe to say that the vast majority of people couldn't care less what i had for dinner tonight, so if i feel the urge to express myself by discussing all the trimming on my plate i'll post it in the junk section, if anyone is stupid enough to post something that is more than likely gonna be completely uninteresting to all parties in a section other than junk then they deserve the grief they get.
I can't believe i actually just typed all that out, that is actually a prime example of a rubbish post that probably deserves to be in the junk section lol, how bored am i, but being as there isn't yet a rubbish section it's not my fault
Anyway just to finish off, a few examples for anyone slightly unsure.....
A link, joke, or some form of information that someone other than yourself will actually be glad they read would be classed as an ok post.
The colour of your socks, what you had for dinner, how many blades of grass you counted on your way to school/work etc belongs in the junk section(if the people in charge ever create one of course)

This is the best idea ever when will it go ahead... do you need a petition on it because I'll be very happy to sign it.
The General (ATFC) is fine but the other General should be about football in itself like chelsea, woking, arsenal, farnborough etc. but the Utter Bollox section is absoloutely nothing related to Football
