Canvey confirm league withdrawal
 






Canvey Island have formally told the Conference that they are withdrawing from the league.

Canvey have given written confirmation that they are seeking election to a league lower down the pyramid.

If Canvey's withdrawal is approved by the Conference board next Tuesday, Tamworth will avoid relegation.

Canvey won the Rymans League in 2004 but feel they are unable to continue at Conference level following Jeff King's decision to scale down his investment.

King has now left Canvey has left Canvey for good now and has become manager of Ryman Premier side Chelmsford City.

There is still a thing such as Canvey actually. They have already said they will ask to join a lower non league like the ryman or southern league

and ther isn't such thing as Canvey Island FC because if you look carefully on there new badge it says 1926 which is obviously the year they were founded
