Well just think before you say next time or do you not remember what sills has done for us over the past 3 seasons (not sure if it was longer?)

Haha, its funny what a selective memory some people have. I am not saying that Sills wasn't a good player for us, but what about some others. He didn't do much more (if anymore) for us than some other players who have been and gone in the past

I don't recall Jon Challinor getting nice comments after he left us. So why does Sills deserve so much nicer comments than Jon Challinor?

Ah yes of course, making a money gesture at the crowd after having received a tirade of abuse from our crowd for absolutely no reason......yes he was a really bad guy wasn't he!!!

Yes he is a bad guy

so he got about 200 fans threatening abuse at him but in the premiership they have 2,000 fans throwing abuse at them they deal with it i mean watch what everyone in the country will do to cristiano ronaldo when he returns and well see if hes bothered providing the pussy doesnt go to real madrid

Yes, I agree that the little gesture made by Challinor was perhaps a little unprofessional, however don't try to tell me that players making little gestures to the crowd is uncommon, even at the top level because it is not.

Generally speaking it only happens when they score and they antagonize the opposing fans a little, but it does happen.

Plus, maybe Challinor was a little surprised to be getting the level of abuse that he was. A bunch of people giving him abuse for no other reason than that he switched clubs (or no other justifiable reason) is a bit much.

He was a great player for us, and I for one have some fond memories of his time with us.

Yes, I dont remember anyone giving him grief at our club he was a great player for us BUT at the end of the day youve just got to ignore it

Yes I know nobody gave him any abuse when he was at our club, you don't tend to abuse your own players, except in some circumstances.

However, he did recieve a large amount of abuse when we played Exeter, which in my opinion was totally unwarranted.

I can't understand why people have got such double standard that they are willing to defend any abuse that certain former players get, but are not willing to defend certain other former players, who as far as I am aware did not deserve the abuse that he recieved.
