I am now in Chengdu, flown on from Shanghai today. These guys are absolutely mad for English football. I have told as many as possible about the mighty Shots and they all bought into into my passion, but then we go and lose at Cambridge and they think we are pants!! I had about 10 in Shanghai ready to sign up and become members! When they saw the result they lost interest, but then I showed them the video link that Ben Smith puts on, and they loved the noise and passion.
So we have agreed that they have to attend the Mecca of football before the end of this season and the they will start the Shanghai branch of the RBA!!
So when they come we have to make lots of noise and make them feel welcome!

Best Football league in the World? No.


But non-league Clubs in England are bigger than quite a few league teams around Europe.

I'm all for over-sea's member's of the RBA as long as they share the same passion as its current member's do for the club. The bigger the RBA get the better we'll be. Even more colour and noise!

Seein that photo from Brittania that was posted other day made me think just how big this club could and should be. Our attendances have been lower than I thought they would be this season. With the team we have and the football they are capable of producing I think we should be getting at least another k at home.

I'm bringin along 3 mates from work on Sat and although they all support Glory hunting premiership sides I'm hoping to get them on the bandwagon and supporting a proper team. Once they experiance the East bank I know they won't look back!

I just hope its a good match so I can persude them along again tho I know the East bank will be singin no matter what(even if its not my song)so hopefully that will be enough to get them hooked!
