I've just watched the youtube match highlights which was provided by Meridian News and from that I draw the following conclusions:
1) It was certainly a penalty - the ball was in front of the Oxford player and Smith bundled him from behind
2) The small number of Shots supporters on the shotsweb message board saying things like ''Mark Molesley is crap'' ''Mark Molesley is ****e'' ''Molesley just runs around like a gypo'' - shut up! He is as good as Lee or any other midfielder we have and battles all game long for everything!
3) Again the small number of supporters on the shotsweb message board slagging off Dave Winfield after literally every match should be ashamed! He is young, still learning and is one for the future - to be honest he is just as good as Day and Edwards!
4) We are never going to get promoted with three slow centre backs - evidence in the second goal as Rhys Day hardly even moved to clear the ball from Burgess
5) Message to Oxford supporters - why do you think your so amazing? A club of your size and fanbase, a quality manager, loads of money and basically the team you had in the league kept together - so to be honest you should be doing what your doing at the moment, it's no shock to me. You may get the biggest home crowds but your singing is as bad as Basingstoke's! All you sing is: Yellow, Yellow, Yellow - how boring! Can't wait until you get back into the football league!
1. from my angle it didnt look like a penalty, 2. Those shotsweb posters are really pissing me off Mark Molesley was excellent for us on saturday 3. I didnt reallly rate Winfield last year but hes starting to get in my good books now 4. Obviously you didnt watch the full match, Rhys Day, Dave Edwards and Winfield(in the short part he played) were brilliant Day just made that 1 mistake 5. Entirely agree with you there 6. Could you possibly leave the link to it
